Let not Mercy and Truth forsake thee:

Bind them about thy neck.

Write them upon the table of thine heart.

So shall thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3:3,4).

Be careful to always be truthful, showing mercy in every situation or circumstance. All our actions should be influenced by Mercy and Truth, not as one in bondage but willingly out of a loving heart. To show mercy and to walk in truth are characteristics of Christ-likeness.

As we practice these virtues, the Bible say’s we will find favor and good understanding from God, and man.

Following His Example: When Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, He also increased in favor with God and man. (Luke 2:52).

Jesus said in His sermon on the mount, “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7).
