Greetings In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

For centuries, 'The Church' has taught repentance as the standard of the Christian experience--to daily confess all sins, but, from the beginning with Adam and Eve--God's desire, has always been our unquestioning obedience.

A wise person will hear "The Word of God" and do it. (Build your house on the rock).

Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15).

Furthermore, "Why call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"(Luke 6:46).

My brother, my sister--Repentance Is Never A Substitute For Obedience.

                                                      Why Repent? Simply Obey.

                                                                                                                                                             by Maurice W. Armstrong (Pastor)

PS: The Billboard says, Sin and repent, or simply Obey?

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, In the name of Jesus, we humbly bow, seeking your forgiveness from all our disobedience and rebellion to your word. Dear Lord, change our hearts and give us a spirit of obedience to do your will.  Teach us to follow you in the examples Christ has shown. Amen.

PS: Get Wisdom...

Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee.

Love her, and she shall keep thee.

Exalt her, and she shall promote thee.

Embrace her, and she and she shall bring thee to honor.

She shall give to thine head an ornament of Grace.

A crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

(Proverbs 4:5-9).

"Happy is the man that findeth wisdom and the man that getteth understanding, for the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her..." (Proverbs 3:13-18).

Wise men worship Him. (Matthew 2:1,2)

"Fools despise wisdom..." (Proverbs 1:7)

Yea, "Wisdom is too high for a fool..." (Proverbs 24:7)
