Building Spiritual Houses
At The Wisdom Centre, our focus is on "Building Spiritual Houses"--for a habitation of God through the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:20- 22).
In the closing remarks of His first public sermon, Jesus said, "Whosoever Heareth these sayings of mine and Doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man which Built His House upon a rock.
To hear the word of God and do it, is therefore, the biblical pattern for building strong spiritual houses.
When Moses was about to build the tabernacle, God said, "See that you do all things according to the pattern shown to you in the mount." (Hebrews 8:5).
The Apostle James wrote, "But, be you doers of the word and not hearers only..." (James 1:22).
The building process must be "Precept upon Precept"-- you cannot add precepts where there are no precepts.
St. Matthew chapters five, six, and seven, are the focus of the "Work of the Ministry" here at "The Wisdom Centre".
As pastor, I'm convinced that if we will not heed the sayings of Jesus, in this, his first public sermon, then all other preaching is vain.
Jesus ended his sermon by saying, "Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them not is like a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand." (Matthew 7:26).
We have our instructions--Let's build...
"All the buildings fitly framed together..."(Ephesians 2:21).
"We are His people and The Sheep of his pasture..." (Psalm 100:3).
The Shepherd Leads the Sheep Follows. (John 10:27).
