What Is Wisdom?
“Behold, The Fear of the Lord, That Is Wisdom….” (Job 28:28.
But What does it mean to fear the lord? This “Fear” refers to reverence and respect–honoring God much more than we do our parents, grandparents, the boss at work, or the country’s president.
In Basic Training, soldiers learn seven core values, and from then on, they live them every day in everything they do — whether on the job or off. These Seven Core Army Values are what being a Soldier is all about: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
” But, of all the army values, Honor is the one that embodies all the others.”
General Douglas MacArthur said, “… the very obsession of your public service must be Duty, Honor, and country.“
As Sovereign Lord and Creator, God deserves our highest Honor-–Obedience to His Word.
The Fear of the Lord–that is wisdom.
Since God Is not a man, He cannot lie; therefore, whenever He speaks, obedience is the only expected response.
The Prophet Samuel declared, “Hath the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as in obeying the Voice of the Lord? Behold to obey is better…” (1 Samuel 15:22)
Furthermore, Jesus said, “Why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46).
Then, as Jesus ended His first public sermon (The Sermon on the Mount), He warned–
“Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man….”
“And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not shall be likened unto a foolish man….” (Matthew 7:24-26).
Therefore, BE WISE–hearers of the word must also be doers of the word. (James 1:22).

Wisdom indeed is the principal/main thing.

I believe in these times we are experiencing so much going on in our society that we need to walk with God as never before.
Having the Wisdom of God is one of the most important gifts we can have dealing with our everyday situations and making Godly decisions. I’m encouraged by Pastor Armstrong in hearing the voice of the Lord and empowering the people of God to seek the Wisdom of God, and He will direct our paths.
Great article, wisdom is needed in every facet of life TODAY! It is good to have a ministry built not just on wisdom itself but the wisdom of God, It removes relativism and anchors on biblical truth.

Pastor Armstrong is definitely a man of God,he doesn’t only speak it but he walks it and lives everyday,he has been a blessing and encouragement to myself throughout the years,and imparting wisdom in me,”Man shall not live by bread alone,but also by the word of God.
We as Christians need to know God for ourselves. In these time were people are comfortable talking about many things that are ungodly, but are afraid to speak about our Lord and the gospel. We as Christians need to keep on praying 🙏 more and more each day for our children, so that they don’t get lost and carry away by this society.

Thank you pastor Armstrong for sharing the words of wisdom with me, I believe what proverbs 1:7 says,is the foundation on which we as Christians believers should base our understanding as the main principles true wisdom concerning God,and Ecclesiastes 12:13 confirmed it.
Great post. We should all aim to live in obedience to God’s word. Nevertheless, remember that everyone’s not on the same path and has had different experiences. Wisdom from God helps us navigate our way through any situation and allows us to be used to help bring someone else into his light.
